2 month slumber

Ugh.

Why is it that any time I actually get to sit down and watch a Leaf game on TV, they get their asses handed to them by the other team? Why is it that the pre-empted Leaf game (I sure as hell don't give two shits about the Sens (spit) playing the Crapitals) is always the one where they can do no wrong and they score 10 goals? Is there some higher power screwing with me? Probably not.

This is the first update in 2 months. Most of the readership has gone off to pastures new, or realized that blogging and reading blogs and leaving little comments isn't as fun as it was back in the good ol' days of blogging a couple of years ago. Whatever.

Things are going well enough around here. My brother came up for a visit and is leaving today. My father was supposed to have an operation this past week, but just like a stellar Leaf game, it was off before it was even on. So, it has been rescheduled and my brother who came up to lend some moral support just ended up stuffing his face. Actually, my brother resembles one of North America's biggest celebrities.

My brother got fat and has become the quintessential "Fat and Loud American"

My Pro-Line streak went for a few weeks there around the holidays (read Kwanza) but came to a halt last weeek. i also pissed my $2 away this weekend. Lousy San Jose can't beat the shittiest team in the league at home - they have Leaf disease.

I'm working at a place that I'm not allowed to talk about. What is with all this security? I'm like a henchmen of a James Bond villian now. Security is the most important spot on the Team work ladder, or something. What team? When do we get to meet another team and play against them? It's all a bunch of baloney. Although, the day they fired our supervisor for being a beligerant prick and moved us to day shift was pretty good. We celebrated with a power jack race.

Finding a job and getting the old life sorted out has been an uphill battle. I'm pretty disgusted with Calgary, Canada and myself. I feel a lot better than I did when I lived in Nippon, but still there is a lot of room for improvement. Maybe I should join the military. Maybe my henchmen training will be useful.

I've got to go drive someone to the airport. Take it easy.
